As you sit near me tonight

I can feel it in your Spirit and see it in your Light…
As It grows dimmer My Sweet Love so Dear!
You’ve Loved us and been so Loyal
For all of these Years,
It’s going to hurt so much to say Goodbye,
I’ll do it with Love and Tears!
You nuzzled up against me.
I petted you and touched your cold cold ears,
And watched you lay down beside me,
You feel asleep one last time,
Oh…Remember all those Years!
No other dog could replace you,
And no one ever will,
You’ll be Our One and Only Catty Dog
Until The Earth Stands Still!
Good Bye for now – Go with God and wait for us

The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal
dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to
Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends
so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and
sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just
as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are
happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very
special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together,
but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His
bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run
from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster
and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...
Catty and her Friend "Hallie" the Cat. Both of them are TRYING to claim the "Chair" for themselves!! Good thing they got along!! :)
Ha Ha!! I got the Chair all to myself this time! :)
Catty was a "Rescue" dog...we got her at the local Pound just one day before she was due to be "Put-Down". That's why we don't know exactly what her Birthday was! We got her in 1995 - the same day we had to have our former dog, Judy, put to sleep because she had had a "stroke" of something - she could not get her back end to move - so what we thought was going to turn out to be a Very Sad Day turned out to be just about the Best Day we ever had!!
